Unforeseen Encounters is my Sci-fi/Action Screenplay. What triggered me to write this script though, still scares me. There were certain thoughts and what-ifs behind writing it. I was watching a History Channel documentary about pollution. I watched the documentary and thought to myself what if the air pollution particles have fallen back to Earth and contaminated the surface of bodies of water and soil? I mean we all know that we humans are the main source of pollution on the Earth. What if this happened though? You know this can kill crops or reduce their yield. It can kill young trees and other plants. It can kill the planet. Because like us people, animals, and plants, entire ecosystems can suffer the effects of the air pollution we created. That haze, like smog, is one of the visible types of air pollution that obscures shapes and colors. The hazy air pollution can even muffle sounds for God’s sake. Then I began thinking of hypothetical outcomes. But before going through that you all should know that I’m one of those writers who believe in the possibility that we humans were at some point genetically manipulated by extraterrestrials or might even be the final product of their genetic engineering. Having said that, it was not a crazy hypothesis that the same extraterrestrials might want to wait for us humans to go extinct so they can use the Earth as a mining planet. They might want to do some genetic engineering again and create hybrids that can survive the pollution and diseases associated with them.

You might question my judgment about the existence of extraterrestrials or their genetic manipulations. Well, maybe we have never seen any aliens, but recent polls indicate that up to six or seven percent of Americans claim to have been abducted by them. The extraterrestrials are often said to take their captives to their spaceships, lay them out on a table and extract sperm from the men and impregnate the women. I mean six to seven percent? Doesn’t this say something to you? Most of the people who claim to have been abducted say they were examined by aliens, and tested by them. They also claim their experience wasn’t a pleasant one.

Anyways, all these led to me writing my first Sci-fi/Action script which I’m proud of. Because it is different from other scripts in this genre. In this screenplay, I did not only show the problem or talk about the outcome. I had a message and that was to keep the planet clean.
